About organization

Ukraine is Europe is a non-profit organization registered under French and European law, with its headquarters in Schiltigheim, Alsace, France. Our mission is to support Ukrainian communities affected by the war through humanitarian convoys, ambulance deliveries to conflict zones, and essential aid distribution. We also assist Ukrainian refugees across the EU with transportation, housing, administrative support, and school registration to help ease their integration.

As part of our humanitarian activities in Ukraine, Ukraine is Europe is looking for motivated volunteers to join our team in Lviv. Our current programs include assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), mobile clinic deployment in vulnerable areas, and social housing rehabilitation. To support these efforts, we need operational assistance in marketing and communication.

📣 Volunteer Opportunity – European & North American Coordination of Medical and Social Centers for Ukrainian Refugees

Ukraine Is Europe is an international humanitarian NGO actively supporting Ukraine and Ukrainian civilians since the beginning of the war.

To further strengthen humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian refugees, we are currently seeking volunteers based primarily in Europe and North America.

As part of the development of Medical and Social Centers supporting Ukrainian refugees (access to healthcare, social assistance, administrative guidance, and integration), we are looking for committed volunteers willing to:

Engage with national and local public administrations in their country of residence
Support the establishment and development of Medical and Social Centers
Facilitate coordination between institutional, humanitarian, and civil society stakeholders

Profile Sought

Volunteers based in Europe or North America
Existing contacts within public administrations are an asset, but not mandatory
Strong humanitarian commitment and motivation to contribute to a high-impact program
Autonomy, perseverance, and determination to support Ukrainian refugees

Skills requirement

Strong writing skills in English or French, Autonomous, proactive, and team-oriented, Genuine interest in humanitarian work and current events in Ukraine, Knowledge of Ukrainian is a plus, but not required

Experience requirement

Background or experience in marketing, communication, journalism, or related fields

Time commitment

At least 1day/week
